Our MENU

Our unique foods originate from five different countries

AISH

The traditional Egyptian pocket bread (similar to pita bread) is made by baking a mixture of wheat flour, water and salt.

BABA GHANOUSH

Made from grilled eggplant, peeled then mashed and mixed with tahini, lemon juice, a variety of spices and dressed with olive oil.

BASBOUSA

A sweet semolina cake that is sprinkled with a syrup that emanates a floral scent, (made from rose water).

ROZ MEAMMAR

Rice baked in cream and chicken broth.

LÁNGOS (FRIED DOUGH)

A plate-sized sheet of fried dough covered in garlic sauce.

GULYÁS (GOULASH)

Original Hungarian soup. It contains chunks of beef, potatoes, vegetables, and plenty of paprika and spices.

PÖRKÖLT (MEAT STEW)

A stew made of meat, chicken gizzards, tomatoes, paprika, and onions, served with nokedi (Hungarian noodles).

TÚRÓGOMBÓC (SWEET CHEESE DUMPLING)

A plate-sized sheet of fried dough covered in garlic sauce.

AZIFA

A green lentil salad mixed with ingera (sour and spongy vegan round bread).

MESIR WOT

A delicious combination of split red lentils simmered in spicy berbere sauce.

FASOLIA

String beans, sauteed with carrots and caramelized onions.

CHECHEBSA (ALSO CALLED "KITA FIRFIR")

Lightly fried injera cooked in berbere sauce and served with honey.

PEKING ROASTED DUCK

Sliced peking duck with pancakes, sweet bean sauce and mashed garlic.

SPRING ROLLS

Cantonese dim sum, filled with vegetables baked in savory sauce.

WONTONS

Meat filled noodles served in soup.

DUMPLINGS

Minced shrimp and chopped vegetables wrapped into a thin piece of dough.

HAMBURGERS

100% natural beef, served in chiffon rolls with tomatoes, lettuce, onions and a side dish of fries.

HOTDOGS

Spiced pork served with mozzarella cheese, pesto and tomatoes , in a bun.

DOUGHNUTS

You can choose between our three great flavors: apple crumb, blueberry or chocolate caramel.

PANCAKES

Served with seasonal fruit salad, maple syrup and powdered sugar.

About Us

 

It all started when a special group of five best friends decided to take advantage of their different ethnic backgrounds and started cooking.

First, they bought an old building and started renovating it into a restaurant. Before they knew it, they ended up with a variety of cooking utensils ranging from a wok (Chinese cooking pan) all the way to a steamer. Their customers were so enthusiastic by their many varieties of cuisines that they decided to go into the catering business.

The assortment of cuisines offered in "Cate5", brings us many customers who can choose their favorite and most memorable foods.

You can choose to mix between the different varieties of food or stick to a traditional dish.
